Photo print of the second temple of Hera in Paestum, Italy.

Description

This photo shows the second temple of Hera in Paestum, in the Campania region of Italy. While most people will look for holidays in Amalfi, Positano, Capri or Ischia, this ancient site provides a very welcome escape from mass tourism with its fish and chips, busy beaches, and expensive boat trips. At Paestum (then known as Poseidonia), the ruins of three 6th-5th century BCE archaic Greek temples survive. These are some of the best preserved early Greek temples in the world, and an unparalleled example of Doric architecture.

Photo taken April 2018. Printed on Giclée Hahnemühle Bamboo, a warm-toned paper made from 90% Bamboo fibres and 10% cotton – combining photography with environmental friendliness. It offers good ageing resistance and guarantees high colour density.

This is a limited edition print, of 50 copies. Please note that it is being sold unframed, so you can choose your a frame that matches your own decorating style.
