Description
This photo shows the 2nd-3rd century CE triumphal arch of Trajan in the ancient Roman city of Timgad, modern day Algeria. It has intricate Corinthian columns, and would have been decorated with monumental statues. Timgad can be visited by travelling to beautiful Constantine, and taking a two-hour road-trip south. Not many people do however, which means that you can walk down the streets of this fascinating UNESCO World Heritage Site with only the echo of your own footsteps.
Photo taken August 2018. Printed on GiclΓ©e HahnemΓΌhle Bamboo, a warm-toned paper made from 90% Bamboo fibres and 10% cotton – combining photography with environmental friendliness. It offers good ageing resistance and guarantees high colour density.
This is a limited edition print, of 50 copies. Please note that it is being sold unframed, so you can choose a frame that matches your own decorating style.
